I’m New Here

At UMC Vista, we understand that attending a new place for the first time can be filled with questions and uncertainties. We’ve all been there, wondering, “Will I be welcomed?” or “Will I feel comfortable?”
Rest assured, we genuinely care about each and every individual who walks through our doors. Just as we were warmly embraced when we were newcomers, we are committed to extending the same heartfelt welcome to you. Your presence is a gift to our community, and we value the opportunity to connect with new faces.

Our aim is to create a community that fosters a sense of belonging, where you can come as you are and feel at ease. Whether you’re a longtime member of a church or exploring spirituality for the first time, you are equally important to us. We are a connected community of individuals looking to share life experience with one another.

As you embark on this journey with us, we want to assure you that our doors and hearts are open to embrace you. We’re excited to have you join us in worship, fellowship, and service as we grow together in faith and love. Please join us for worship either in person or online, Sundays at 10am!

Arrival and parking
First-time visitors have reserved parking. Take the second parking lot entrance on Matagual Drive, and follow the signs to your reserved spot. We have parking for individuals with special needs, as well as first-time visitors.

A greeter will be waiting for you at the entrance to the church. They will welcome you and are prepared to answer your questions.
Ushers will help you find your place to join us in worship.

What to wear

UMC Vista has no dress code. Wear whatever makes you comfortable! Some people like to wear business casual attire, others are more comfortable in just casual.  Some wear coat and tie.  We don’t judge you based on what you wear; in fact, we won’t judge you at all!

What about Children?

Children are an essential part of our community, and we take immense joy in having them join us in worship. We value their presence and believe that they bring a unique and beautiful energy to our services. As such, we have dedicated resources and programs that cater specifically to their spiritual growth and well-being. We also have a dedicated nursery for newborns.
