Congregational Care

Congregational Care has a very active Team at UMC Vista. The many members who serve on this committee, whom we refer to as Shepherds of Care, bring their special gifts to help and assist those in time of need.

The Mission of the Congregational Care Team is to share God’s love and grace with all members by providing an umbrella of care, offering compassion, prayer, spiritual comfort, communion, and visitations. We also seek connectional resources when needed and are ready to assist at any time we are called. We strive to reflect God’s love by caring for one another.

Additionally, the Care Team makes certain that each Home Centered member has a Shepherd of Care to ensure no one is forgotten.
