Support the Sierra Service Project Team:

The SSP team will have fundraisers throughout the year to help offset some of the cost for the registration fee and travel expense for the trip to and from the site.

To financially support the Youth SSP team is to mail a check to UMC of Vista at 490 S. Melrose Dr., Vista, California 92081.  Or place it in the offering plate.  Make sure it is noted in the memo section of the check "SSP2012"

Location:

We will be attending the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes which are located in Southeastern Idaho on the Snake River; today the reservation consists of 544,000 acres of land. There are about 3,800 tribal members who reside on the reservation.

Type of work:

The repair work will be for elders primarily building wheelchair ramps, wood sheds, and exterior painting.
