Kairos is a Prison Ministry that occurs in the prison yard with teams of men from both inside and oustside the prison.

Kairos is an inter-denominational prison ministry designed for use in state and federal men's and women's correctional institutions of the US and abroad.  This ministry is governed by the national  board of Kairos, Inc. with headquarters in Winter Park, Florida.

There are two Greek words for time.  One of them, with which we are all familiar, is "kronos," meaning temporal or clock time...hours, days weeks, etc.  The other is "kairos", used in the sense of a time set by God for a particular occurrence.  KAIROS was found to be a work of very special significance in the environment of the correctional institution where the work "time" carries so many special connotations.
